Alle aangeboden wapens op mijn site vallen onder de vrijstelling art 18 van de WWM, en zijn bedoeld voor verzamelingen of voor studie doeleinden

Deze site is gestart in 2006 Steeds is er een stukje aan toegevoegd of is de site uitgebreid. Ik sta open voor suggesties of een voorstel om de site meer af te stemmen op de bezoekers van de site. Mijn site is een gevolg van een flink uit de hand gelopen liefhebberij. Ik verzamel, koop, verkoop en ruil wapens en toebehoren voor jacht en schietsport. Dit zijn dan antieke wapens vrijgesteld volgens de Nederlandse wetgeving. Ik doe niets met munitie. Ik ben van mening dat kennis op dit gebied alleen te verkrijgen is door veel te lezen, te zien en daadwerkellijk in handen te nemen. Daarbij wil ik de kwaliteit van mijn eigen verzameling op een steeds hoger peil brengen.Mijn interesse op dit gebied is vrij breed. Het hoofdbestanddeel van de eigen verzameling bestaat uit wapens voor de jacht en stroperij. Maar dat wat is uitgedacht en gerealiseerd in de periode waarin het vuurwapen zich ontwikkelde van de voorlader naar achterlaad systemen en uiteindelijk tot dat wat het nu is heeft voor mij zeker zijn charmes.

Was de aardappelpoot machine van Jethro Tull het voorzichtige begin van de industriële revolutie. De ontwikkeling van machines en mensen die deze machines ontwierpen en bedienden volgend elkaar snel op, let alleen maar op de eindeloze reeks patenten en het ontduiken hiervan in de daarop volgende jaren.

Deze site is niet direct bedoeld als shop, maar is juist bestemd voor kijk plezier. Regelmatig verkoop ik stukken uit de collectie om een ander stuk te kunnen bekostigen

This is started in 2006, from that moment on there were new parts added to it. I do welcome suggestions or anything that can improve this site for the vissitors. My site is the result of a hobby that did not stop from developing itself.

I do collect, buy, sell and trade arms and gear for hunting and shooting. This all concerning antique arms according to Dutch laws. I'm convinced that the only way to gather knowledge of that classic iron is read as much as possible and own them. My interest for these area's is not focussed on one part of it. The main part of the collection consist of hunting arms like shotguns used for hunting and poaching. But all the inventions in what the fire arm developed itself from a muzzle loader until a breech loader until the systems for fire arms today do have it charm’s for me. Jethro Tull with his potato planting machine was perhaps the start of the industrial revolution. But the development and idea’s of machines and people who constructed en operated those machines went very fast. You only have to notice the almost endless series’ of patents and the infringements of these patents in the years that follows.

This site is not just as a web shop, but surely mend to enjoy the pictures. Enjoy yourself
